2011 Annual City-Wide Spelling Bee - On November 3rd, 2011; 22 teams competed for the prestigious Spelling Bee Trophy at the McDevitt Middle School Auditorium. Only one came on top. The winning team was NAKC and the winning word was "Ptosis". Read more and view pictures >>>

Spring is in the air! When I walk into the office, I hear the birds singing and children laughing and I am again amazed at the opportunities that we have, a community working together, offer our children. Together, we are helping our youth gain the skills and confidence they will need to succeed. Together, we are helping them learn determination, perseverance and to expect excellence from themselves and others. Our investment is great, but the return on our investment is even greater.
